Breaksea Sound Pinot Noir 2007
NZD $24.99
Paul Tudor, Master of Wine says "Breaksea Sound has better balance and texture than many of the 'name' Central Otago Pinots that retail for $40 or above, which makes it an extremely attractive proposition. One of the finest Central Pinots that I have tasted this year." This is a remarkable wine at an even more remarkable price. Lots of savoury fruit with a hint of chocolate - great mouth feel and very smooth. Limited quantities.

La Multa Syrah 2007
NZD $24.99
From Calatayud in Spain, this is an unbelievably dark, concentrated and deeply flavoured wine, resembling a $50 Cornas from the northern Rhone. Deep black red with a purple crimson rim, it's sweet, soft, juicy and tarry to the taste with dried herbs, spice, and as the wine lingers the black fruits and the peppery signature of Syrah comes through.
